Sailing and photography—two passions that define me. My photography often blends these interests, capturing the interplay of water and light. Whether it’s wide-angle shots of Dutch skies adorned with blue and white clouds or intimate moments aboard classic wooden flat-bottomed ships, my work reflects a deep appreciation for contrast and beauty.
The Netherlands, my home, is a country of striking opposites. It’s where centuries-old history meets cutting-edge innovation. From the picturesque canals of Amsterdam to the charming old harbor towns like Enkhuizen on the IJsselmeer, every corner tells a story. At the same time, our modern marvels, such as the sleek landscapes of the Flevopolder, showcase the ingenuity of Dutch design. Traveling across these diverse settings with a camera always yields inspiring photographs, which I enjoy sharing with others.
Outside photography, my professional focus is on sustainability, freshly processed food, and groundbreaking technologies. I am a co-founder of TOP b.v., a partner at BOX n.v., and the owner of Food4Innovations Holding b.v. My work connects innovation with impact, drawing on my expertise as a food technologist from Wageningen, located in the heart of Food Valley.
